NAAC Report Structure

About Peer Team Reports

Per official NAAC guidelines, every peer team visit results in a structured assessment report. The report combines qualitative peer evaluation with a system-generated quantitative quality profile (QnM) based on the NAAC Quality Indicator Framework (QIF).

Section 1 — Institutional Overview

Provides the executive summary of the institution, including its profile, historical background, mission & vision, programmes offered, and key statistical data. This section contextualises the institution for the peer team's assessment.

Section 2 — Criterion-wise Analysis

A qualitative, descriptive analysis based on peer evaluation of seven NAAC criteria. Instead of bullet points, this section offers critical assessment identifying strengths and weaknesses under each criterion with weighted scoring.

Section 3 — SWOC Analysis

An overall institutional analysis presenting Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges observed by the peer team. This holistic view guides the institution's quality enhancement roadmap.

Section 4 — Recommendations

Records up to 10 major recommendations for quality enhancement made by the peer team. These recommendations form the basis of the institution's action plan for the next accreditation cycle.

Section 3 — Overall Analysis

SWOC Analysis

Per NAAC Section 3 guidelines, the peer team presents an overall institutional analysis covering Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Challenges as observed during the accreditation visit.

Section 4 — Quality Enhancement

Recommendations

Per NAAC Section 4 guidelines, peer teams record up to 10 major recommendations for quality enhancement. These guide the institution's improvement roadmap for the next accreditation cycle.

Research & Publications

Establish a dedicated Research Promotion Cell to incentivise faculty publications in high-impact indexed journals and increase funded research projects through DST, DBT, and ICMR grants.

Infrastructure Augmentation

Procure advanced research instruments (NMR, HPTLC, Mass Spectrometry) to strengthen the PhD Research Centre and enable high-quality postgraduate research.

Industry–Academia Linkages

Formalise additional MoUs with pharmaceutical companies in Maharashtra for student internships, faculty exchange, and collaborative research projects.

Placement & Employability

Expand the Training and Placement Cell activities by inviting major pharma employers (Sun Pharma, Cipla, Lupin, Alkem, Dr. Reddy's) for structured on-campus placement drives.

Student Research Culture

Introduce a structured undergraduate research programme and encourage student participation in AVISHKAR and other national-level research competitions.

Digital Learning Resources

Enhance e-library subscriptions to international pharmacy journals and integrate Learning Management System (LMS) tools for blended teaching-learning delivery.

Community Extension

Scale up NSS and community pharmacy outreach programmes to educate the local Marathwada community on rational drug use, generic medicines, and public health.

Financial Sustainability

Strengthen fee collection mechanisms and explore alternative revenue streams through consultancy, continuing education programmes, and industry-sponsored research.

Faculty Development

Create a structured Faculty Development Programme (FDP) calendar with at least two national-level workshops and one research writing bootcamp per academic year.

Accreditation Readiness

Maintain rigorous, year-round IQAC documentation practices and conduct annual internal mock-NAAC audits to ensure seamless preparation for Cycle 3 accreditation.
